The Intern Abroad (IAB) Programme at Scarlet 41 is a specially designed residential scholarship offered in partnership with BPIC network. Our partner countries include Trinidad & Tobago, United Kingdom, South Africa, Nigeria and Zimbabwe. The Programme welcomes interns each year for professional placements to increase both their representation and skillsets in critical areas of industry. All enrolled interns will spend between 3-6 weeks abroad engaged in STEM based professional Training, Research, Practical and Vocational placements.

The residential will take place in the partner countries identified and will be designed around thematic goals which support UN SDG’s 9, 4, 11 and 17. This would be achieved through initiatives that focus on increasing the professional representation of undeserved and minoritized communities in Construction & Engineering, Manufacturing, Actuarial Science and Aviation. Scarlet 41 & BPIC Network will offer a diverse and inclusive programme which is second to none in the Caribbean region and by extension will allow for the diaspora to be engaged.
